With easy-to-follow directions that are designed to ensure a perfect meal every time that can feed up to 4 people. No water to drain off, a savory Southwest seasoning is already included and you conserve valuable resources since ½ the cooking time the pot is resting covered off the heat.
Superior packaging: We vacuum seal the seasoned rice with a food safe oxygen absorber. Next, we place that vacuum bag into thick, heat sealed black mylar bag. This bag allows no light or moisture to enter and if that is not enough, we add another oxygen absorber for better long-term storage. We guarantee this rice will keep for 10+ years when stored at room temperature. In cooler storage areas these oxygen free packages can be safely stored and consumed for up to 30 years.
COOKING DIRECTIONS: Remove the oxygen absorber and discard. Add 2 cups of water and the contents of the package to a medium size saucepan. Bring the pan to a boil stirring occasionally. Once it boils, reduce the heat to low, cover the pan and simmer for 15 minutes. No stirring needed once covered. After 15 minutes remove the pan from the heat and the cover pan rest for another 15 minutes (No peeking) After resting there will be no water to drain off. Fluff the rice with a fork, serve and enjoy!
